Leadership Team Leadership Team Amit Satpathy CEO Amit is the CEO of Terrier. Joining us in 2017, he brings 20 years of experience in Complex Business transformations, Global Strategic Partner Management and establishing new business streams. He is responsible for the Management and transformation of Terrier into a technology-enabled global authority on security and Intelligence. Prior to joining Quess, Amit has worked for various Fortune 500 organizations in sectors such as telecom, consumer products, media, entertainment, infrastructure and IT. His last stint was with Vodafone where he was responsible for managing the Enterprise P&L by leading the Sales, Service, Marketing, Innovations and Commercial Operations. Amit holds an Engineering degree from the Shivaji University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Symbiosis International University. Lt. Col. DARSHAN BAL (Retd.) Managing Director Lt Col Darshan Bal (Retd) joined TERRIER Security Services (India) Pvt Ltd., in 2003 and currently serves as its Managing Director. Under his astute leadership, the TERRIER team has progressed extensively, spreading to a PAN India presence . As a senior level professional with over two decades of service in the Indian Army, he brings in the experiences of both the Defence Forces and the Private Security Industry. The Indian Army stint saw him through a wide exposure to Counter Insurgency operations, High Altitude Warfare, Disaster management and Relief Operations, spaced out in his tenure at J&K and Maldives. He is the recipient of Security Leadership Award from CAPSI through Security Skills & Leadership Summit – 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in science from the St Joseph Arts and Science College, Bangalore. Captain Ravi Ravi founded Terrier Security Services (India) Pvt. Ltd in 1989 and Pegasus (with a focus on people development) in 1997. He served in the Indian Army (Parachute Regiment) before moving into the corporate sector and later went on to becoming an entrepreneur. Ravi specializes in leadership development and mentoring and has played a key role in developing OBL programs in these areas. He has been a resourceful person in HR process development for various corporate firms and has presented papers on OBL methodology at numerous forums. He is an assessor at the Assessment and Development Centre at Pegasus and Leading Initiatives of Australia.
